A. Advertising in MorayLocal is free for anyone for any number of placements (as you can enter in different categories), however if you wish to place a link to your website or provide site users with your email address we do charge a small fee. TOP

Q. Why have some adverts got web links and emails and not others?

A. Either the organisation has not got a website or email or they have not paid the fee to have their details included. TOP

Q. How do I search for a specific type of company?

A. Click the 'Advanced Search' tab and follow the instructions on that page. TOP

Q. How do I add our organisation to MorayLocal?

A. Click the 'Add Details To Site' tab and follow the on screen instructions. TOP

Q. We are a charity can we have a web link free?

A.Charities and not for profit organisations e.g. clubs, voluntary groups, support groups, councils, etc. may be able to have links and emails added for free. To arrange this contact the web management team using the details on the contacts page. TOP

Q. I looked for a friends business and it is not in your directory, why?

A. MorayLocal requires businesses and organisations to submit their own data to the site. We do not submit data for organisations. Please pass the word about MorayLocal to all local organisations and businesses to help us become a community resource. TOP

Q. Are there any conditions attached to advertising with MorayLocal?

A. Yes before putting your data into our site you will be asked to read and agree to our terms and conditions. TOP

Q. Our organisation is not in Moray can we advertise?

A. Yes. All we ask is that your services are pertinent to the people of Moray e.g. a garage in Shropshire is probably not providing a service to locals in Moray, However a breeder of pedigree Alsation dogs in Wiltshire probably could provide a service to locals of Moray due to the lack of this type of service in the county. We leave it to you to decide but occasionally we will trawl the data and may remove non pertinent entries. TOP

Q. Does MorayLocal scan or validate the businesses submitting data?

A. No. We leave it up to site users to validate businesses claimed credentials as in our 'conditions of use'. We occasionally trawl the data and may remove non pertinent or obvious rogue entries. TOP

Q. How do I remove an entry from the site?

A. To have an entry removed you must email us using the details on the contacts page. The mail must be from the person who registered the entry with us or from the same email address as registered with us. If you are not the person who registered or they are no longer in the organisation then contact us with details of your name, address, telephone number, relationship to the organisation and reason for removal, once these are confirmed we will remove your entry.

Q. How do I change or get a forgotten password?

A. To get a forgotten password or change a password please contact us from the email address used at initial registration and we will send out or perform changes as required.
